Description
The tunnel was part of the old road that connected San Pedro de Atacama with the city of Calama and it is here where a beautiful walk begins on the north side of the Salt Mountain Range (2.600m) and with a privileged view of the Catarpe Valley, San Pedro River and the desert landscapes, contrasts of colors that thrill. The walk ends in a cave with hidden petroglyphs used by the natives to take refuge.
